Charles R. Nesbitt (August 30, 1921 – July 25, 2007) was an Oklahoma attorney and politician. Nesbitt held several political positions in the Oklahoma state government, having served as the 9th Attorney General of Oklahoma (1963-1967), a member of the Oklahoma Corporation Commission (1969-1975), and as Oklahoma Secretary of Energy under Governor David Walters (1991-1995).

Nesbitt was born in Miami, Oklahoma, in 1921. His father was Charles, also an attorney, and his mother was Irma Wilhelmi Nesbitt. He received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1942, then left to serve in the army under General George S. Patton. Upon leaving the army, he enrolled in law school at Yale University and graduated with his Juris Doctorate in 1947, shortly after working under a district judge Bower Broaddus. He soon after went into private practice and was also involved in politics. His wife, Margot, is a retired Episcopal priest formerly of St. Paul's Cathedral in Oklahoma City.

Charles Nesbitt died on July 5, 2007 at the age of 85. His wife, Margot, is still alive, healthy, and continues to serve at St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral in Oklahoma City.

Nesbitt was married to his wife, Margot, with whom he had three children: Douglas Nesbitt, Nancy Nagle and Carolyn Gresham-Fiegel
