Mike Jones began a career as a football coach in 1998 and has been offensive coordinator at Tennessee State University since 2010. Jones graduated from Bishop Montgomery High School of Torrance, California in 2009 and lettered in football and track. In the fall 2007 semester of his junior year, Jones lived in Clermont, Florida with family and attended East Ridge High School before returning to California the following semester. At East Ridge, Jones played as a defensive back, and Jones played both wide receiver and defensive back at Bishop Montgomery.
