Chalchiuhnenetzin ("noble jade doll"; chal-cheeoo-neh-NEH-tseen) was an Aztec princess of Tenochtitlan and Queen consort of Tlatelolco, one altepetl - city-state.
She was a daughter of prince Tezozomoc and his cousin, princess Atotoztli II.
Here is her family tree:
Her brothers were emperors Axayacatl, Tizoc and Ahuitzotl and she was an aunt of Moctezuma II and Cuitláhuac.
Chalchiuhnenetzin married Moquihuix (died 1473), king of Tlatelolco. She bore him a son Axayaca, named after her brother.
However, Moquihuix neglected Chalchiuhnenetzin, preferring the company of other women. It is said that her teeth smelled very bad.
She later came to her brother.
