The Centre for Research and Information (CRI) is a Bengali political party foundation associated with but independent of the centre-left Awami League (AL). The foundation's headquarters are located in Mirpur Road, Dhanmondi near Sher-e-Bangla Nagor.
The Centre for Research and Information is the first and only non-profit political organizations in Bangladesh. With numerous development projects and fosterage of international exchange of opinion, the foundation supports youth engagement, democratized debate, empowerment of citizens and promoting policy awareness. It works to bring politics closer to the people, particularly to the young people.
