Cathkin High School is a state secondary school in Cambuslang, South Lanarkshire (Greater Glasgow), Scotland.

The school was built at a cost of £1.25 million and opened in November 1970, around the same time as the neighbouring housing scheme at Whitlawburn. In 2008 the old buildings closed and the school moved to a new campus that also houses a nursery and a special school, Rutherglen High, on a site to the north of the old - which was redeveloped for housing (Cathkin Rise by Barratt).

As of September 2015 the school had 1004 pupils on the school roll and 88 Full-time equivalent staff.

The Headteacher is Anne Marie McNair who was previously an assistant head at nearby Stonelaw High School. She is assisted by her Depute Headteachers Mr Doig, Mr McConachie, Mrs Gebbie and Mrs Leevy.

Cathkin uses a house system. The school is split into six houses and they are:

Cairns Primary (Halfway), Cathkin Primary (Cathkin/Fernhill), Hallside Primary (Drumsagard Village), Loch Primary (Whitlawburn / Springhall), West Coats Primary (Cambuslang / Kirkhill).

Notable former pupils include:
