Carter Jones (born February 27, 1989) is an American former professional road racing cyclist, who as of 2015[update] rode for Team Giant–Alpecin. During the season, Jones resides in Boulder, Colorado.
Jones joined Optum–Kelly Benefit Strategies for the 2014 season, after his previous team – Bissell – folded at the end of the 2013 season.
On June 24, 2016, Jones announced the termination of his contract with Team Sunweb, and his retirement from professional cycling, citing injuries sustained in accidents during the 2015 and 2016 seasons.
