Carlos Knox (born October 7, 1974) is a retired American basketball player who last served as the head coach of the London Lightning of the National Basketball League of Canada (NBL). He is considered one of the best players to ever represent Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis, leading NCAA Division II in scoring for two straight seasons. Knox was also named D-II Player of the Year as a senior with the Jaguars. In 2004, he was inducted into the school's Hall of Fame and his jersey was hung in its basketball facility.

On July 29, 2015, it was announced that the London Lightning had dismissed Knox due to "conduct detrimental to the team." The Lightning would announce a new head coach in early August. It was later revealed that Knox had hidden the positive drug test of player Jonathan Mills from the public.
