Carl Cashman is a British Liberal Democrat politician. In May 2017 he was the Liberal Democrat candidate for the Liverpool City Region mayoral election.
In May 2016 he was elected to represent Prescot North Ward on Knowsley Council, along with Ian Smith and Mike Wynn, making them the only three non-Labour members in the borough. The election of Cashman presented a tide shift from one party politics that had dominated the Borough since 2012.
