Cap Bon (Arabic: الرأس الطيب), also Watan el-kibli, is a peninsula in far northeastern Tunisia. It is located at around 36°45′N 10°45′E / 36.750°N 10.750°ECoordinates: 36°45′N 10°45′E / 36.750°N 10.750°E. It is surrounded by the Gulf of Tunis in the north. Towns located on the peninsula include Nabeul, Kelibia and Menzel Temime. The ruins of the Punic town Kerkouane are located here.
Djebel Mlezza (Mount Mlessa) on Cape Bon had tombs from the time of Agathocles. that were excavated just before WW1.
