CHL Top Draft Prospect Award

The CHL Top Draft Prospect Award is given out every year to the top eligible prospect for the NHL Entry Draft from the Canadian Hockey League. The award was first given in 1991, and was not given from 2003–05.

Players in bold were selected with the first overall selection in the NHL Entry Draft.

The Michael Bossy Trophy is awarded to the top draft prospect of the QMJHL. From 2003–2005, when the CHL Top Draft Prospect Award was not handed out, the winners of the QMJHL's top draft prospect were:
