The Burnie Ten is an Australian 10 km road race and is held on a Sunday in October every year. Between 3000 - 5000 participants usually take part. The Burnie Ten is held on the North West Coast of Tasmania city of Burnie along the Emu Bay.

The race provides an opportunity to participate with the nation’s elite athletes. It’s a flat, fast, out-and-back, runner-friendly course that attracts competitors from all over Tasmania. The race enjoys terrific public support – not only from genuine runners and those not normally so active who set themselves a goal together but also the spectators lining the course, cheering everyone on.

The race starts north of Wilson/Cattley Street intersection and proceeding south along Wilson Street to the Bass Highway. Then they got east and go pass the Burnie Yacht Club and Wivenhoe before reaching the five kilometer turning point before returning along the same route in reverse back to the start-finish line.

In 2015, a 5km event was added with 489 participating in the five kilometre event with the half want point at around Emu River.
