Bruce Mau Design is a multidisciplinary design studio founded in 1985. In 2004, the practice became part of MDC Partners. Up until 2010, the practice was led by Bruce Mau. It is now headed by President & CEO Hunter Tura, with offices in New York City, London, and Toronto.
The studio works globally with leading businesses, cultural, architectural, and academic organizations on brand systems, visual identities, consumer packaging, and digital experiences.
Bruce Mau Design was founded in 1985 by Canadian graphic designer Bruce Mau. In 2004, MDC Partners, a marketing and communications conglomerate based in Toronto acquired a 50.1% stake in Bruce Mau Design. Mau left the practice in 2010 to co-found Massive Change Network with his wife, Bisi Williams. Hunter Tura became President and CEO of BMD in 2010.
