Broken Barricades is the fifth studio album by British rock band Procol Harum, released in 1971. It was Robin Trower's last album with Procol Harum before his solo career.
The album features a tribute to Jimi Hendrix ("Song for a Dreamer") written by Robin Trower and Keith Reid. Trower and Reid were stunned by Hendrix's death at the age of only 27.
All songs written by Gary Brooker except where noted. All lyrics written by Keith Reid.
The 2009 Salvo reissue was remastered by Nick Robbins and features four bonus tracks. These tracks are "raw" tracks without overdubs and in the case of "Poor Mohammed" features just the backing track with Trower's lead guitar prominent.
