Britam Tower is a Commercial Building in Nairobi owned by Britam. The building once complete will stand 200 m (660 ft) and it will have 32 Floors. The building was designed by GAPP Architects and Urban Designers and its Principal architect is Chris Kroese. It was set to be completed in 2016 at which point it will be the tallest building in Kenya and the second tallest building in Africa. The building features a unique prismic shape that starts as an equal four sided square footprint and ends with a two sided roof with a 60m mast containing three helical wind turbines.
Once complete it will be the regional headquarters of Britam in East and Central Africa. The building will have a total 31,500m2 of office space to let for commercial purposes. To cater to its many tenants, the building has an attached 12 Storey Car Park that can accommodate up to 1000 Cars.
