Brian Sockwell (born June 7, 1968 in Brown Summit, North Carolina) is a NASCAR driver.

Sockwell raced in the Goody's Dash Series for several years, earning several wins. In 1997 he came close to winning the Goody's Dash Series championship, but was edged out by 138 points by Mike Swaim, Jr.

In 2002, he came back to the #54 Chevy sponsored by Maddux Supply Co. and later Lowdermilk Electric. He struggled in his five starts in the 2002 season, with only one finish inside the top 20. In his last race of the 2003 season, he and his sponsor moved to the #5 Ware Racing Enterprises team, but wrecked and were released at the end of the season.

In his first season in the Busch Series, he went to the #94 Chevy sponsored by RaceApe.com. Later in the season, he moved to the #41 Chevy sponsored by cashwell.com.

In his only race of the 2005 season, the Sam's Town 250, he went to the #88 Reary Racing Chevy.

He attempted the 2007 Kroger 250 truck race, however he failed to qualify. He also attempted the 2007 Gateway 250 in the #97 Reary Racing Chevy, however he was pulled from the entry list.

In 2008, he attempted to qualify for the Chevy Silverado 250 in the #54 Reary Racing Chevy sponsored by Sculley Boats, but failed to do so. Later that year, he qualified for his first truck race since 2003, the North Carolina Education Lottery 200. He started last (36th) and finished 29th.

He has a wife named Janet and a daughter.
