Brian Derreck Reese (born July 2, 1971) is a former college basketball player and a former assistant coach at Monmouth University. He was a 6'6" player from the Bronx, NY. Reese went to High School at St. Nicholas of Tolentine High School where he was a McDonalds All American
Reese won the NCAA National Championship under Dean Smith with the University of North Carolina in 1993. He felt Dean Smith was a major influence on his life.
Reese went on to play professionally in Austria, Belgium, the Dominican Republic, England, Finland, Iceland, France, Korea, Taiwan and Puerto Rico. He served as the coach at Georgian Court University. He was an assistant coach at Illinois State University.
