Brian McGrory is an American journalist and publishing executive. McGrory is the current editor-in-chief of The Boston Globe.
McGrory was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He graduated from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine with a Bachelor of Arts in 1984. He began his publishing career as a Metro columnist and quickly moved up the ranks to associate editor. He has served as a White House reporter. His magazine won the Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News Reporting in 2014.
