Brecknock Township is a township in northeastern Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 7,199 at the 2010 census.

Brecknock is a Welsh name.

The Bowmansville Roller Mill, John B. Good House, and Red Run Covered Bridge are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 24.9 square miles (64 km2), of which, 24.9 square miles (64 km2) of it is land and 0.04% is water.

As of the census of 2000, there were 6,699 people, 2,115 households, and 1,793 families residing in the township. The population density was 268.8 people per square mile (103.8/km²). There were 2,161 housing units at an average density of 86.7/sq mi (33.5/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 97.70% White, 0.33% African American, 0.15% Native American, 0.75% Asian, 0.03% Pacific Islander, 0.30% from other races, and 0.75% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.96% of the population.

There were 2,115 households, out of which 42.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 76.1% were married couples living together, 5.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 15.2% were non-families. 13.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.17 and the average family size was 3.48.
