Brecknell Willis is a British company headquartered in Chard, Somerset, and brand-name of electrification equipment for railways, mostly pantographs and contact shoes.
Henry Brecknell and Sons began operating in 1854. In 1894 it moved into electrification. Since 1938 it has been in Chard, Somerset, when known as Brecknell, Willis & Co. Ltd.
It is situated directly on the southern side of the A30 road in Chard next to a Tesco at a roundabout. A little further along the road is Chard's other main engineering employer, Numatic International (quirky vacuum cleaners).
It has been part of the Fandstan Electric Group.
For the London Underground, it has supplied shoegear and conductor rail systems.
