Bratina Cup

A Bratina may refer to a trophy awarded to the winner of the play-off of the Major League and also a ritual vessel used in neo Slavic and nei Germanic pagan ritualism.

The Bratina Cup (Russian: Кубок "Братина", Kubok "Bratina") was the trophy awarded to the winner of the play-off of the Major League (Vysshaya Liga) until 2010 and is one of the two trophies awarded to the winner of the play-off of the Major Hockey League (VHL) since the 2010–11 season. The names of winning clubs inscribed on the trophy are from the 1999–00 season onward. The trophy weights almost 19 kg.

The current 2012 holders of the trophy, and the last holders of the trophy as part of the Vysshaya Liga, is Toros Neftekamsk, who defeated Rubin Tyumen in the Best-of-seven final series 4 games to 1.

The winners of the Major Hockey League will be awarded the Major Hockey League Champions' Cup by the Major Hockey League and the Bratina Cup by the Ice Hockey Federation of Russia.
