Braden is a town in Fayette County, Tennessee. The population was 282 at the 2010 census. The town is named after Joseph P. Braden.

Braden was founded in 1850 as a depot on the Louisville and Nashville Railroad.

Braden is located at 35°22′30″N 89°34′30″W / 35.37500°N 89.57500°W / 35.37500; -89.57500 (35.374867, -89.574942).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 3.8 square miles (9.8 km2), all land.

As of the census of 2000, there were 271 people, 104 households, and 79 families residing in the town. The population density was 71.2 people per square mile (27.5/km²). There were 109 housing units at an average density of 28.6 per square mile (11.0/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 91.14% White, 7.01% Black or African American, 0.37% Native American, and 1.48% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.37% of the population.
