Bouchetispira vitrea is a species of sea snail. It is the only member of the genus Bouchetispira (the genus is thus monotypic), and the genus Bouchetispira is in turn the only genus in the family Bouchetispiridae (a monotypic family). The scientific name of the family and the generic name is in honour of Philippe Bouchet, the French taxonomist and malacologist.

Bouchetispira vitrea has a thin, translucent shell up to 30 millimetres (1.2 in) long, with orthocline ribs. The specific name vitrea is from the Latin word , which means "glass", referring to the translucent appearance of the shell.

The species was found on an isolated seamount off New Caledonia, and is probably the sole survivor of a larger clade.
