Borirane is the organic compound with the formula BC

5. It is a cyclic boroether. This means that it is composed of 2 alkyl groups attached to a boranylidene moiety in a cyclic shape (circular). This colourless, flammable gas is the simplest borirane, a three-membered ring consisting of two carbon and one boron atom. Borirane is isomeric with ethylideneborane.
