Blaydon RFC is an English semi-professional rugby union team. The first team currently play in the third tier of the English rugby union system (National League 1), since they won the National Division Three North in 2006–07. Their home ground is at Crow Trees, Swalwell, Tyne and Wear.
The Blaydon first team are presently the third highest placed league team in the North East (behind Premiership side, Newcastle Falcons and National League 1 club Darlington Mowden Park R.F.C.). Due to Blaydon's close proximitey to the Falcons, increasingly this season, many of the Falcon's promising academy players have been given invaluable experience at Blaydon. The first team squad is formed entirely by semi-professional players.
Blaydon run various youth teams, ranging from under-7 to under-19.
