As of the census of 2000, there were 894 people, 361 households, and 258 families residing in the town. The population density was 2,131.3 people per square mile (821.8/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 86.69% White, 1.79% Native American, 0.34% Asian, 0.11% Pacific Islander, 7.49% from other races, and 3.58% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 10.40% of the population.
