Blain|Southern is a contemporary art gallery with spaces in London and Berlin established in September 2010 by Harry Blain and Graham Southern. Blain|Southern represents 24 contemporary artists and the estate of modern British sculptor Lynn Chadwick and has been cited by Artnet News as ‘Europe’s Top 55 Galleries You Need to Know’. Represented artists include Ali Banisadr, Mat Collishaw, Amy Feldman, Michael Joo, Jannis Kounellis, Bosco Sodi, Chiharu Shiota, Tim Noble and Sue Webster, Bill Viola and Wim Wenders amongst others.

Blain|Southern’s publishing activity consists of exhibition catalogues, monographs, artists’ books, limited edition vinyl records and catalogue raisonnés.

Blain|Southern's London gallery opened on 13 October 2010 with 'Creation Condemned', an exhibition of new works by the British artist Mat Collishaw. Other exhibitions include Bill Viola’s ‘Moving Stillness’ in 2015;Lynn Chadwick’s ‘Retrospectives’ in 2014; and one-off special projects such as Lucian Freud: Drawings’ in 2012; a collaboration between Damien Hirst and Felix Gonzales-Torres in 2013; and an exhibition of works by Andreas Schmitten, Gereon Lepper and Mathias Lanfer curated by Tony Cragg in 2015.

Blain|Southern opened a gallery in Berlin in May 2011 with an exhibition by Tim Noble and Sue Webster, ‘Turning the Seventh Corner’, in collaboration with the British architect David Adjaye The 1,300 square metres space, formerly the printing presses of Der Tagesspiegel, Germany's liberal daily newspaper, is located on Potsdamer Strasse.
