Birmingham City Council elections


One third of Birmingham City Council in the West Midlands, England is elected each year, followed by one year without election. Since the last boundary changes in 2004, 120 councillors have been elected from 40 wards.

Resignation of Labour Cllr Sam Burden.

Labour initially selected Alison Gove-Humphries as their candidate, however she was deselected after 5 days as she was found to have shared anti-Semitic material on her social media. Subsequently, she was replaced with Liz Clements.
