Billy Joel concert chronology

Billy Joel in Concert is a concert tour by American singer-songwriter Billy Joel. After several concerts beforehand, in the fall of 2013, the concert tour began in Sunrise, Florida and will currently end in Philadelphia at Citizens Bank Park on September 9, 2017.

After completing the 2010 Face to Face Tour with Elton John, Joel left the stage and did not return until 2013. He played several concerts, including Sydney in Australia as well as four concerts in the United Kingdom.

The tour began in Sunrise, Florida with two concerts at the BB&T Center in January 2014.

The tour created a residency at legendary New York City venue Madison Square Garden. Joel has played one show a month at Madison Square Garden as long as there is a demand for tickets. His first show at the Garden was on January 17, 2014. On January 9, 2015, Joel broke his record from 2006 for the most consecutive sold out shows at the arena. It was his thirteenth consecutive show. On July 1, 2015, Billy Joel set the record for the most shows at the Garden by a single artist. It was his sixty-fifth show. The record was previously held by Elton John.

Nassau Coliseum opened its doors on February 11, 1972, instantly becoming one of the major hubs for arena rock in North America. Pink Floyd, Elvis Presley, Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Queen, the Grateful Dead, David Bowie and too many others to mention all made it regular stops on their tours. Joel performed the last ever concert at Long Island's Nassau Coliseum on August 4, 2015. The venue closed for major restoration after Joel's concert.

This set list is representative of the tour's average setlist as of March 4, 2016 as conducted by Setlist.fm, which represents all concerts for the duration of the tour.

Total available grossing: $168.1 million from 76 shows.
