The Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (also known as Bihar PCC or B.P.C.C) is the political unit of the Indian National Congress for the state of Bihar. Its head office is situated in Patna at the Sadaquat Ashram. The current president of the Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee is Ashok Choudhary.
The Congress Vice-President Shri Rahul Gandhi has assigned the task to shortlist Congress candidates for each of the 40 assembly constituencies in the state to his close aide and former Governor of Kerala & Nagaland Shri Nikhil Kumar.
Sonia Gandhi, the president of the All-India Congress Committee (AICC), constituted a 20-member co-ordination committee for Bihar in July 2011. Its purpose is to co-ordinate interactions between the state organisation and that at national level.
The Flagship Monitoring Committee was around December 2010 to monitor the various Central Government schemes in Bihar.The former MLC Vijay Shankar Mishra is the Chairman of the recently reshuffled committee.
