Big Blue Mine

Big Blue Mill is a former settlement in Kern County, California. It was located 1 mile (1.6 km) north of Old Kernville and 2 miles (3.2 km) south of New Kernville. The town was named after the Big Blue Mine, where gold was discovered around 1861.
