Big Ang was an American reality television series starring Angela "Big Ang" Raiola, who first received television exposure on the second season of the reality series Mob Wives.
Big Ang is a spinoff of Mob Wives. It premiered July 8, 2012, on VH1.
Raiola confirmed during an interview in May 2013 that a second season of Big Ang was being produced, but it was later revealed that the season would be retooled as another spin-off titled Miami Monkey, which premiered on September 8, 2013.
On February 16, 2016 Big Ang was featured in a Dr. Oz special focused specifically on her and the issue of her illness. Raiola died on February 18, 2016 at the age of 55 after a struggle with brain and lung cancer. Raiola also appeared in the final season of Mob Wives, which was produced before her death.
