Bhairab (Bengali: ভৈরব) is an Upazila of Kishoreganj District in the Division of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Bhairab is located at 24°03′00″N 90°59′15″E / 24.0500°N 90.9875°E / 24.0500; 90.9875 . It has 34419 households and total area is 139.32 km². Bhairab is situated beside the rivers of Meghna and Brahmaputra. Bhairab Bazar (town) is notable for the Bhairab railway station and the railway bridge, Bhairab bridge that goes over the river of Meghna.

As of the 1991 Bangladesh census, Bhairab has a population of 192448. Males constitute 51.11% of the population, and females 48.89%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 95910. Bhairab has an average literacy rate of 25.9% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.

Bhairab Bazar has one of the oldest schools in Bangladesh. Bhairab K.B. Pilot High School, established in 1919 makes it one of the oldest school in Bangladesh as well. Some other well known school in Bhairab Bazar are

Mohammed Zillur Rahman (Ex-President of Bangladesh) Bengali: মোঃ জিল্লুর রহমান; (9 March 1929 – 20 March 2013) was the 15th President of Bangladesh from 2009 to 2013.
