Besim Sahatçiu (Albanian pronunciation: [sahatˈtʃiu]; October 2, 1935 – October 18, 2005) was a Kosovo Albanian screenwriter and director of theatre, film and television. He was the grandfather of British singer and actress, Rita Ora.

After finishing the gymnasium in Pejë, Sahatçiu studied literature at the University of Belgrade. After an interruption of his studies due to compulsory military service, he worked as a translator for the newspaper, Rilindja, for several years. In his thirties, he enrolled in the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb, Croatia, to study directing. He defend his thesis with staging Gogol's satirical play, The Government Inspector, at People's Provincial Theatre in Prishtina.

Sahatçiu directed dozens of films, TV series and plays throughout his career. As a stage director, he worked at the National Theatre of Kosovo.
