Unter den Linden is a new U-Bahn station under construction in the central Mitte district of Berlin, at the intersection of the Unter den Linden boulevard and Friedrichstraße. It will be an interchange station between the extended U5 and U6 U-Bahn lines.

The U5 extension from Alexanderplatz to the newer Berlin U55.svg at Brandenburger Tor will form a line crossing the historic city centre to the Berlin Hauptbahnhof terminus. Construction of the Unter den Linden station began on 1 July 2012 necessitating a break in service on the Berlin U6.svg line. The completion of the Berlin U5.svg extension is due in 2019, but work on the Berlin U6.svg line was already completed in October 2013.
