Ben Maddahi is the current president of Unrestricted. Unrestricted is an A&R consulting company, producer & songwriter management company and publishing company. Via Unrestricted, Ben currently consults for Island Records (Shawn Mendes, Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato) and Songs Music Publishing (Diplo, Lorde, The Weeknd). Maddahi was formerly president of Artist Publishing Group (APG), and A&R at Atlantic Records as well as was on the management team for world-renowned DJ and producer David Guetta.
Maddahi began his career in the music industry as an intern and consultant at Atlantic Records, and has since succeeded in several facets of the music industry, ranging from record label and publishing A&R to producer and songwriter management. Maddahi worked with APG's founder and CEO, Mike Caren, for 4 years before becoming partners with him in December 2010. Caren concurrently serves as President of Global A&R for Warner Music Group. After being with APG for 9 years, Maddahi left to start his own consulting, publishing and management company, Unrestricted.
