Ben Morgan Lake (born c. 1993) is a Plaid Cymru politician and the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ceredigion constituency. He won the seat at the United Kingdom general election 2017, gaining the seat from Liberal Democrat Mark Williams with 11,623 (29.2%) of the vote. Lake is Plaid's youngest ever MP at the age of 24 and is currently the youngest MP in Wales.
Lake is currently the Plaid Cymru spokesperson at Westminster for the Environment, Food, Rural Affairs, Education, Skills, Health, Communities, Local Government, Culture, Media, Sport and Constitutional Affairs.
Lake was born and brought up in Lampeter, where he attended Ysgol Bro Pedr. After graduating from the Trinity College, Oxford with a degree in History and Politics, he became a Research Officer in the National Assembly for Wales.
