Beachmere is a town and locality in the Moreton Bay Region, Queensland, Australia. It is located north of Brisbane, the state capital of Queensland. It has a population of 3,888 (2011 census).
The origin of the suburb name is from an early residence owned by P. Gonney by the name of Beachmere meaning a beach upon marshy ground.
In the 2011 census, Beachmere recorded a population of 3,888 people, 50.9% female and 49.1% male. The median age of the Beachmere population was 44 years, compared to the national median age of 37. 78.8% of people living in Beachmere were born in Australia.
