The Battle of Kizil-tepe (Turkish: Kızıltepe Muharebresi) was fought on June 25, 1877, between the Russian Empire and the Ottoman Empire. The Russian were attempting to besiege Kars. The Ottomans, vastly superior in numbers, successfully lifted the siege.
