There have been several hereditary and life peerages created for persons with the surname Morris, all in the Peerage of the United Kingdom.
Baron Morris, of St John’s in the Dominion of Newfoundland and of the City of Waterford, is a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. It was created in 1918 for the lawyer and politician Sir Edward Morris upon his retirement as Prime Minister of Newfoundland. As of 2012[update] the title is held by his great-grandson, the fourth Baron, who succeeded his father in 2011.
The heir presumptive is the present holder's brother, Hon. James Morris (b. 1983).
