Baldwin Township is a civil township of Delta County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2010 census, the township population was 759, slightly up from 748 at the 2000 census.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 84.2 square miles (218 km2), of which 83.8 square miles (217 km2) is land and 0.4 square miles (1.0 km2) (0.51%) is water.

As of the census of 2000, there were 748 people, 306 households, and 217 families residing in the township. The population density was 8.9 per square mile (3.4/km²). There were 460 housing units at an average density of 5.5 per square mile (2.1/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 96.26% White, 2.27% Native American, 0.40% Asian, 0.27% from other races, and 0.80% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.40% of the population.

There were 306 households out of which 27.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.4% were married couples living together, 5.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.8% were non-families. 27.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 10.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.44 and the average family size was 2.95.

In the township the population was spread out with 22.1% under the age of 18, 8.3% from 18 to 24, 26.3% from 25 to 44, 30.9% from 45 to 64, and 12.4% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 41 years. For every 100 females there were 114.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 111.2 males.
