Baining Mountains

The Baining Mountains is a mountain range on Gazelle Peninsula of New Britain island, in northern Papua New Guinea.

It is located at about 4°40′00″S 152°00′00″E / 4.6666667°S 152°E / -4.6666667; 152Coordinates: 4°40′00″S 152°00′00″E / 4.6666667°S 152°E / -4.6666667; 152.

The highest point of the range is Mount Sinewit at 2,438 metres (7,999 ft).
