Baburaj Jacob (Malayalam: ബാബുരാജ്‌), commonly known as Baburaj, is an Indian film actor who appears in villain and character roles in Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi films. He became popular through Salt N' Pepper (2011) for comic roles. He has also directed 2 films.

Baburaj was born to P.J.Jacob Oleekkal & T.I.Karmali Thottungal. Baburaj married twice. He has two sons from his first marriage named Abay and Akshay. His second marriage is to South Indian action heroine Vani Viswanath.The couple is blessed with a daughter Archa & a son named Adrith. Babu Raj is an Advocate. They reside at Nungambakkam, Chennai. On 14 Feb 2017, Baburaj was stabbed by one of his neighbour in Idukki following an argument.

Baburaj started his acting career as a junior artist. His debut in Malayalam was Beeshmacharyar (1994) directed by Cochin Haneefa, where he played a notorious villain. He also acted as a villain in the Hindi movie Hulchul, which was a remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Godfather. He produced four Malayalam movies and one Tamil movie.

In 2009, he debuted as a director in the Malayalam movie "Black Dalia" starring Suresh Gopi. He also directed a movie named Manushyamrugam, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and his wife produced the movie.
