The Ave Maria University Gyrenes are the athletic teams for Ave Maria University in Ave Maria, Florida.
The university is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), primarily competing in The Sun Conference, formerly known as the Florida Sun Conference (FSC). In the spring of 2016, the Gyrenes joined the Mid-South Conference for football. Ave Maria has also maintained a membership in the USCAA
