Ava Gaudet

Ava Gaudet is an American television, film, and theatre actress/singer from Providence, Rhode Island.

Gaudet is of French descent and comes from a family of performers. Her mother is an actress and is a theater teacher at Mt Hope High School in Bristol Rhode Island and both her father and brother are jazz musicians. She is best known to theatre fans as Maureen in both the national tour and Broadway productions of RENT and on television as the scheming next-door neighbor Gina Gambarro on the American dramedy series Ugly Betty.

In addition, Gaudet is a professional dancer, having performed at Carolyn Dutra Dance in Warwick, Rhode Island. As well as an accomplished singer/songwriter, having released a 4 EPs of Soul/R&b/Pop material with her husband (music producer/engineer) Rob Gaudet of First Degree Productions. In 2008 she was slated to play "Jessica" in the ABC/Touchstone pilot called "See Jayne Run and in 2009 she will star alongside Ving Rhames in the feature film Evil Angel. ".
