Augusta is a census-designated place (CDP) in Lewis and Clark County, Montana, United States. The population was 315 at the 2015 census. The most accepted version in the naming of the town is after Augusta Hogan, thought to be the first child born in the town, the daughter of D. J. Hogan, an early rancher.
Augusta is part of the Helena Micropolitan Statistical Area.
