The 2004–05 season in English football was Aston Villa F.C.'s 13th consecutive season in the [[Premier League}FA Premier League]], and their second season under the management of David O'Leary.
Villa went into the season with high hopes after finishing sixth the previous season, and Villa were in with a good chance of repeating this finish as December arrived, but a run of poor form dragged the club back into mid-table, where they stayed for the rest of the season.
