Aston Hall Hospital
Aston Hall Hospital was a hospital for mentally handicapped children In Derbyshire. It was located in Aston Hall in Aston-on-Trent. The hospital opened circa 1930 and closed circa 1993. The site has now been redeveloped.
Prior to the establishment of the National Health Service in 1948, the hospital was known as Nottingham Corporation Home for Mental Deficients. From 1974 to closure it was operated by South Derbyshire District Health Authority.
