Asthulu Anthasthulu (English: Property-Status) is a 1988 Telugu action drama film, produced by Smt. Sunitha Reddy on Sunitha Enterprises banner and directed by B. Bhaskara Rao. Starring Rajendra Prasad, Chandra Mohan, Ramya Krishna in the lead roles and music composed by Ilayaraja. The film is remake of Tamil film Muthal Vasantham (1986) later remade as Hindi film as Hum Bhi Insaan Hain (1989).
The rivalry between two people Kota Tirupati Naidu (Kota Srinivasa Rao) & Pulikante Papa Rayudu (Charan Raj) becomes a dispute between two villages. Sivaiah (Chandra Mohan) who runs a boat between two villages always fights against their dictatorship and tries to project the villagers. Kishtaiah (Rajendra Prasad) an orphan innocent guy entries these place and Sivaiah gives him shelter and takes care of him as his own brother.
Kishtaiah gets the job in Tirupathi Naidu's house and his only daughter Radha (Ramya Krishna) falls in love with Kishtaiah. Tirupathi Naidu comes to regarding this he furiously gives Kishtaiah a whipping in public. But Sivaiah and his wife Gowri (Mahalakshmi) comes for his protection, with their help Radha and Kishtaiah elopes with intend to get married secretly. But they get caught, and Tirupathi Naidu exacts gruesome vengeance, he chopped off Sivaiah’s arms and his wife is raped by his goons. He reports to the police, accusing Kishtaiah of raping and abducting his daughter Radha. Kishtaiah is stunned when Radha in court testifies against him. After having served his term in jail, he seeks vengeance and at the same time is confronted by another rival Papa Rayudu.
