Ashley Margolis (born 31 October 1993) is an English actor. He has been working since the age of 8. His first role was Chip in Beauty and the Beast in the Disney National Tour, 2002. In 2009 he was cast as Ricky Campbell in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks. He left his role in March 2012. In 2013, he appeared as Death Boy in the BBC Three sitcom Some Girls. In 2014, he appeared as Todd Magellen in Doctors for BBC One. In 2016 he will appear in Father Brown for BBC One
He is best known for playing Ricky Campbell in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks. He played the role of Ricky from June 2009 until March 2012.
His acting career began in 2002.
In 2002, he began his professional career in Disneys National Touring Production of Beauty and the Beast, where he played Chip.
He trained with David Johnson in Manchester where he developed his improvisational skills and appeared in various TV commercials.
Since leaving Hollyoaks, he has appeared in Some Girls (BBC THREE), Living the Dream (E4) and Doctors (BBC ONE).
He also voices characters in various Video Games and Audio Books.
In 2016, he appeared in the BBC TV series Father Brown as Jackie in episode 4.7 "The Missing Man".
Ashley grew up in Whitefield, Greater Manchester. He went to Manchester Grammar School he followed Sir Ben Kingsley and Nicholas Hytner, whom both attended the same school.
