Artificial philosophy

Artificial philosophy is a theory presented by author Louis Molnar to consider what artificial intelligence (AI) might consider about their own existence once they reach a higher state of consciousness.

The author reasons in his paper that at some point, either through programming or organic self-development, that robots will not see themselves as extensions of those that created them, saying " 'Who am I?' will hardly translate into inclusion of humans."

Molnar does not carry the line of thought forward into further interactions with their creators, nor possible conflicts with programming, rendering the concept superficial and introductory in his paper.
